The Lviv Banking Institute of the NBU Banking University, (Kyiv) is a economically specialized establishment that provides training of highly-qualified specialists for financial-credit and banking institutions. The Lviv Institute of Banking started its activity in 1940 as the L’viv financial-credit technical school. In 2010 the institute celebrated the 70th anniversary of its foundation. The main purpose of its activity is the training of a highly-educated personality – a professional, able to think strategically and implement original and fruitful ideas to life, endowed with the best cultural and spiritual qualities, responsibility, professional competence, national consciousness and patriotism.
