Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport is a modern higher school which is internationally acknowledged in the field of education and research. The departments of the university – Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Economic, Traffic Management, and Automation, Telemechanics and Communication - teach students in various specialties to work at the railways and in other industries: IT, construction, logistics etc. In The four academic buildings of the University there are laboratories with the state-of-the-art equipment, scientific and technical library containing 1.5 million volumes, media library, computer centers, gymnasium and student hostels.
