Training of communication specialists for foreign countries has always been and continues to be one of the priority areas of activity of the Kiev College of Communication. In 1961, at the order of the USSR Ministry of Communications, the college started training of communication specialists for foreign states. At that point in time it was the only technical school in Kiev that trained foreigners. During 54 years, the foreign-student division has trained over 1300 specialists for nearly 120 countries of Europe, Asia, Latin and Central America, and Africa. Many of them still work in the national communication networks of their countries. Professional training is conducted by highly qualified lecturers acting as both educators and careful tutors. They write guidance manuals for foreign students, help them study our language and conduct general studies.
