The Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University is one of the oldest institutions of higher education in the art education sphere, and in September 2004 celebrated its 100th anniversary. Our history begins in 1904 from the Musical and Drama School of Mykola Lysenko, who was a great Ukrainian composer and one of the establishers of the Ukrainian classical theatre. The Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University is the leading educational institution of the 4th accreditation level. The University awards bachelor's, specialist and master's degrees.
