The Bukovinian State Medical University (BSMU) is a fully government multistructural educational institution providing educational programmes of different levels. Founded in 1944, it is Ukraine’s one of the most comprehensive research university, with 6 faculties, Educational and Scientific Institute of Postgraduate Education, 4 colleges, 49 departments and more than 30 clinical bases. It provides accommodation for students in the 8 dormitories (2 of them are separated for girls). All international students will be settled in university’s accommodation. Bukovinian State Medical University (BSMU) is one of the largest higher educational establishments in Chernivtsi. It has recently celebrated the 75th anniversary of its foundation. It has been training medical medical professionals from international countries for many years, and during that time over 2000 doctors were graduated and successfully confirmed their knowledge in the home countries with the possibilities to continue medical activities abroad. Additionally BSMU launches the Center for Simulation Medicine. It is educational and practical center where students and interns will learn and improve clinical and communication skills with the modern medical simulators.
