National Technical University Dnipro Polytechnic, previously named National Mining University (NMU) is located in the historic part of Dnipro city - one of the largest industrial, financial and scientific centers of Ukraine. It is a higher education institution of the IV level of accreditation (the highest level of accreditation of higher education institutions in Ukraine), providing high-quality education and combining research with their practical application in science. NMU based in 1899 and is the only one specialized higher educational institution in mining area in Ukraine. According to the International Ranking Expert Group (IREG) for ranking universities «Top 200 Ukraine» NMU takes the 6th place. Foreign students study at 9 faculties at 29 specialties. The procedure for recognition of education documents issued by educational institutions of other countries is carried out by the Commission of the University, which issues the corresponding sample of certificate. Training of students is carried out at the educational degrees of Bachelor (four year full-time form of training) and Master (one and a half to two years). Training of scientists "Doctor of Philosophy" (four years) is carried of the postgraduate study on 12 specialties. Applied orientation of university provided strong and lasting relationships with leading mining and metallurgical enterprises of the region, providing for students the places to undergo training practices. The international authority and recognition NSU allowed to establish a program of double - triple diplomas, as well as student exchanges with European countries. Apart from growing scientific and educational potential, the university has a developed infrastructure of the campus, providing comfortable accommodation and stay of foreign students.
