Khmelnytskyi National University is a Ukrainian university in Khmelnytskyi. History of the University started in June 1962 with the establishment of a general-technical department of the Ukrainian Printing Institute. The Institute trained specialists for 47 countries. More than 11,000 students studied at the university, 6400 of them were full-time students, and 1500 were students of pre-university and post-university training.

Kamianets-Podilskyi Ivan Ohiienko National University for its centennial history has become a modern scientific-educational, cultural and educational center, which has trained more than 90 thousand specialists for general educational institutions, academic institutions and administrative sphere. Among its graduates there are 70 doctors and almost 500 PhDs, honored teachers, scientists and technicians, and physical culture and sports workers of Ukraine.

Kherson State University (KhSU) was founded in November 1917, located in Kherson. KhSU today is an educational, scientific and cultural centre of Southern Ukraine. It provides 4 educational buildings and laboratories, campus, library, recreation zones on the Dnipro bank and on the Black Sea shore, students cafe, students club, sports club, observatory, three gyms and two conference-halls, facility of agricultural machinery. Students can choose Pre-university department or obtain Bachelors or Masters degree.

Kherson National Technical University is an autonomous higher educational institution of the IV level of accreditation, which trains highly qualified specialists for different branches, prepares scientific personnel, provides training and advanced training of specialists, implements fundamental and applied scientific researches on broad aspects, develops international co-operation with higher educational establishments and enterprises. There are 5 faculties (Faculty of International Economic Relations, Management and Business, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Cybernetics and System Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Transport, Faculty of Integrated Technologies), 26 departments, 20 of which are degree-granting. Educational Process is provided by 341 scientific and pedagogical staff of the University, including 187 candidates of sciences, associate professors, 57 doctors of sciences, professors.

Kharkiv Humanitarian-Pedagogical Academy is one of the oldest higher educational  establishment of Ukraine (1920). The structural units of the Academy are Kharkiv and Krasnohrad colleges and the Balakliyska branch. The academy prepares specialists for the first (bachelor’s), second (master’s) and third (doctor of philosophy) levels. For 99 years of its existence, more than 85,000 highly qualified specialists have been trained in the Academy and its structural units. This is confirmed by numerous reviews, letters of thanks from the heads of educational establishments, offices of Education and departments of Education of the Kharkiv region, Ukraine. There are 16 departments in the Academy which carry out scientific and methodological work in 4 faculties: psycho-pedagogical, pre-school and special education and history, physical education and arts, social pedagogical sciences and foreign philology. The educational process is provided by 188 highly qualified scientific and pedagogical staff, 76% of teaching staff have a degree (Doctor of science and Ph.D.) and an academic title (Professor and Associate professor). Specialists are trained in 15 specialties and 15 specializations: Primary education; Pre-school education; Secondary education (Music); Secondary education (Language and Literature (English); Secondary education (Physical education); Secondary education (Computer Science); Social work; Special education; Physical education and sports; Cultural Studies; Philology; Psychology; History and Archeology; Management, Biology, as well as postgraduate studies in the specialty: 011 Science of education in the specializations: general pedagogy and history of pedagogy, theory and methods of education; 231 Social work in the specialization: social work.

V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University is one of the oldest universities of the Eastern Europe. It was founded in November 1804, on the initiative of the prominent educator V.N. Karazin and in accordance with the charter of Emperor Alexander I. Kharkiv University is the only university in Ukraine that has trained and employed three Nobel Prize laureates: the biologist I. Mechnikov, the economist S. Kuznets, and the physicist L. Landau. Since being founded, the University has graduated over 130,000 students. The names of the University graduates are perpetuated in toponyms, names of space objects, plants and minerals, laws and formulas. The University has initiated the whole system of higher education of the Kharkiv Region. The University boasts its wide international recognition as one of the initiators of signing the Magna Charta Universitatum (Bologna, 1998), a co-founder of the Eurasian Universities Association, an active participant of International Association of Universities and European University Association, a training center for about 1500 international students, postgraduate and doctorate students for 50 countries of the world, and a partner in research and educational cooperation with more than 100 universities and other organizations all over the world.

Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport is a modern higher school which is internationally acknowledged in the field of education and research. The departments of the university – Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Economic, Traffic Management, and Automation, Telemechanics and Communication - teach students in various specialties to work at the railways and in other industries: IT, construction, logistics etc. In The four academic buildings of the University there are laboratories with the state-of-the-art equipment, scientific and technical library containing 1.5 million volumes, media library, computer centers, gymnasium and student hostels.

The Interregional Academy of Personnel Management is the largest non-governmental higher education institution in Ukraine with more than 22,000 students.
IAPC was founded in 1989. (Kyiv) as a higher educational and research institution.
The Academy has Level IV accreditation in all licensed specialties.
According to the results of the Ranking of the Higher Educational Institutions of Ukraine, "Sophia Kyivska" IAUP was recognized as the best non-governmental institution of Ukraine and the best institution of management.
Among the graduates of the Academy are the heads of state committees and deputy ministers, deputies and mayors, diplomats, top officials of the Presidential Office of Ukraine, rectors of universities and school directors, businessmen and military leaders. Today, almost 20,000 graduates of the Academy work in various sectors of the Ukrainian economy and abroad.

Founded in 1930, Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics is the state university specializing in economics in Eastern Ukraine, performing multi-stage training of specialists with the following degrees: Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, Doctor of Philosophy, Doctor of Science. The University applies the principle of lifelong learning that consists of the system of pre-university training, undergraduate and graduate education. It also has a license for retraining and advanced training. During its existence, the University has trained specialists from 83 countries and nowadays, the University enrols more than 1,400 foreign students from 43 countries.

National Technical University “Kharkov Polytechnic Institute” (NTU “KhPI) was founded in 1885. NTU “KhPI” is one of the oldest universities in Ukraine that prepares professionals in more than 100 specialties. The integration of science and education has steadily provided a weighty breakthrough for NTU “KPI” both in training the engineering personnel and in research activities along with high rating and leading positions among institutions of higher education in Ukraine. In 2000 the university was granted a national status and in 2010 it became a self-governing (autonomous) National Research University. Today NTU “KhPI” is among the leading educational and research centers within the higher education system in Ukraine. During its life the University gave training to about 200 000 specialists, including more than 4000 professionals from 94 countries all over the world.

National Aerospace University "KhAI” - the only one in the Ukraine and one of Europe's largest aerospace universities, which trains highly qualified engineers in all areas of aerospace science and technology, information technology, radio systems, control systems, economics and management, etc. University is accredited as an educational institution of highest (IV) level.

In 1994 the institute was granted a new status and a new name - Kharkiv State Academy of Food Technology and Human Nutrition. The University has a wide network of international ties with more than 30 universities and foundations in the USA, Germany, France, Spain, Poland, Romania, Russia and other countries. Every year, the faculty and students participate in international culinary competitions, exhibitions, and joint research projects with foreign colleagues. The university has almost 500 international students.

Kharkiv State Auto-Road College is a state higher educational institution of the first level of accreditation, subordinated to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and located in Kharkiv. The College is one of the oldest educational establishments in Ukraine, which trains junior specialists for road transport companies, road complexes, Ministry of Justice institutions, law enforcement agencies and enterprises of various forms of ownership.

Kharkiv Petro Vasylenko National Technical University of Agriculture - the only and leading University in Ukraine which has got the highest IV level of accreditation in agricultural engineering profile. The University prepares specialists who gain qualification levels "Bachelor", "Specialist", "Master" of all training areas. During training, students can get a number of workers qualifications. After graduation students also get a certificate of sample entrepreneurs state. Effectively operates postgraduate and doctoral studies. The majority of students live in |University hostels, which are located in the best areas of Kharkiv.

Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics (NURE) is one of the oldest technology universities in Ukraine, founded in 1930. NURE has strong research and education capabilities in electrical engineering, electronics, telecommunications and computer technologies. We maintain the balance of research and education and encourage open thinking; we adhere to the principles of tolerance and multiculturalism. The University has 8 faculties, 33 full-time departments, Center for Foreign Students, Institute for Advanced Studies and NURE IT Academy. About 100 Doctors of Sciences, Professors, 350 Candidates of Sciences, Associate Professors work at the University. All conditions for studying, rest, self-improvement and accommodation of international students are created at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. They may participate in sections on Muay Thai, kickboxing, kettlebell lifting, sambo, judo, football, basketball, as well as in cultural-mass work: festivals, concerts, and amateur performances. There is a large number of gyms, food services area, rest areas, specially equipped auditoriums at the university.

Founded in 1930, Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University has a huge experience in training specialists for foreign countries. In 1948, the University received its first foreign students. Today, more than 3000 specialists with diplomas KhNAHU successfully employed in more than 70 countries around the world.

In May 16, 2014 Kharkiv Educational and Scientific Institute of State Higher Educational Institution (SHEI) “Banking University” celebrated its 70th anniversary. The Institute has the considerable experience in training specialists for financial and banking system; it has gained strong competitive position among educational institutions of Ukraine. During 70 years of the activity Higher Educational Institution has graduated more than 40 thousand highly qualified specialists. The Institute provides educational services related to obtaining a complete higher education and improving staff qualification of banking institutions.

Ivan Kozhedub Kharkiv University of Air Force is a multidisciplinary higher educational institution with a highly qualified faculty, up-to-date educational and material facility, developed infrastructure. The University was founded in 1930. Kharkiv University of Air Force has the IV level of accreditation and trains students in 7 majors and specialties. The University also trains international students in all the accredited specialties at the level of all the qualified requirements of bachelor, specialist and master on the basis of the international contracts of Ukraine, state programs, contracts drawn by the University with legal entities and individuals. The University is licensed to train international students for their further enrollment in higher educational institutions. The term of training at the preparation department is one year. Since its foundation the University has trained specialists for 27 countries of the world. Enrollment of international students takes place August 15 through October 15 according to the results of the interview. On completing the training course, students are issued certificates and on graduating from –state-recognized diplomas.

For 76 years, Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University has been the leading educational, scientific and cultural centre of the Precarpathian region.
