Luhansk State Medical University was founded in 1956 in Luhansk, Ukraine as Voroshilovgrad State Medical Institute on May 6, 1956. By 2012, the university had more than 3,000 students from over 60 countries. The university offers interns the opportunity to specialize in any of 25 areas.

Black Sea National University - one of the youngest institutions of higher education in Ukraine. It is the place where in 1862 the decree of Emperor Nicholas port was founded craft school. Since there are different types of educational institutions.
BSNU Renaissance - Renaissance of Ukrainian culture. So, October 15, 1615 from Kiev noble Halshka Hulevychivna Ukrainian Brotherhood gave his mansion in Podil in Kiev for the foundation of the monastery, hospital and school. Since then, this day is the Day of foundation of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, the first university in Eastern Europe, was founded by St. Petro Mohyla, a prominent figure of the Orthodox Church and reformer of education.
To provide education that meets international standards, the university is in constant and close ties with various international organizations and foreign universities. Expanding the practice of inviting leading foreign scientists to teach in the BSNU Petro Mohyla and training of our students and teachers in foreign universities.

4 institutions and 6 departments form the basis of Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University. It offers training which gives opportunity to become BA and MA in economics, law, political science, international relations, history, sociology and social work, public administration. Teaching staff prepares doctors, ecologists, programmers, linguists, psychologists, managers and other highly paid professionals. The material base includes 10 university buildings, a library with a fund of 110,000 published sources (15 languages of the world); the information-computer center and 14 computer classes (free Wi-Fi); gyms; student dormitories and etc. There are post-graduate department in 9 specialties and 5 specialized academic councils to protect theses. Many of them got diplomas and undertook apprenticeships at the best universities from France, Germany, Norway and USA. 15 scientists and lecturers of PMBSNU were awarded with diplomas and medals of Honorable international scientific community Phi Beta Delta, USA. The University has license to prepare foreign students from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Canada, China, Columbia, Georgia, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Moldova, Russia, Turkey, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The main activity of the University is the providing higher medical education for Specialist’s, Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, as well as postgraduate training in internship, mastership, postgraduate study courses for physicians and pharmacists. The history of Zaporizhia State Medical University comes back to the Women Pedagogical Courses organized in Odessa in 1903. In 1959 the Pharmaceutical Institute was transferred from Odessa to Zaporizhia and renamed in Zaporizhia Pharmaceutical Institute. In 1968 the institution became Zaporizhia State Medical University.

Ivan Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine is a higher education institution of with level IV accreditation in Ukraine. TNMU regularly leads various national and international rankings of universities. The university has twenty years of experience in teaching international students in English. Currently, 1,556 students from 53 countries study here. The total number of foreign students studying in English is about 600 people.
In July 2009, SSU Medical Institute entered the list of the higher education institutions of the World Health Organization Database (Avicenna Directories).
All specialties of the Faculty of Economics and Management are certificated by International Education Society Ltd (Great Britain). International certificate gives an opportunity to come up to better results in job searching at the international and native job markets, as well as to provide employers with relevant information, which is usually not included into appropriate certificates.
International students take an active part in academic competitions, are engaged into scientific work, make reports at the scientific and practical conferences of the University and other higher education establishments of Ukraine, publish their works in scientific journals. Foreign citizens, if desired, can continue their studies in post-graduate programmes (doctorate programme).

International University of Economics and Humanities named after Academician Stepan Demianchuk is the first private higher educational establishment in Western Ukraine. The first important date of its history is 1993. According to the decision of the International Pedagogical Academy (IPA) Rivne Research and Consulting Center (a branch of the IPA), that was registered by the Ministry of Education of Ukraine as an institution with the right to train specialists. HSEE of Ukraine “Ukrainian Medical Stomatological Academy” is a contemporary multidisciplinary educational institution of the 4th level of accreditation, which trains medical professionals of many specialties, including "Dentistry", "Medicine", "Nursing", "Orthopedic dentistry" and "Pharmacy". The Academy has five faculties (the Faculty of Medicine #1, The Faculty of Medicine #2, the Faculty of Dentistry, Foreign Students Training Faculty and the Faculty of Postgraduate Education), medical college and preparatory training courses for foreign and Ukrainian citizens. South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky was established on 2 May, 1817. On 13 July, 2009, by the Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 538, South Ukrainian State Pedagogical University named after K. D. Lviv State University of Physical Culture – higher educational institution of IV accreditation level, was founded in 1946. The State Institution “Institute of neurosurgery n. acad. A. Romodanov NAMS of Ukraine” is the leading institution in Ukraine in the specialty of neurosurgery.
