Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv is a research university with a classic tradition and is the leading establishment of higher education in Ukraine. The University of Kyiv has become more proactive in the foreign citizens recruitment process. At present, the number of foreign students enrolled at the University is 935. The State University of Telecommunications provides training in the most promising professions in the field of IT-technologies, telecommunications and electrical engineering, software engineering, computer engineering, cyber security, management, public management and administration. State Higher Educational Institution “University of Educational Management” of National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine realizes complex preparation administrators-professionals in education area. University offers study at Department of preparation for admission to higher educational institutions; by educational and qualified level “Bachelor” in such education fields: “Social and Behavioral Sciences” (Specialties: “Economics”, “Psychology”), “Management and Administration” (Specialties: “Management”, “Entrepreneurship, Trade and Exchange Activity”, “Management”), also “Master”: “Social and Behavioral Sciences” (Specialties: “Economics”, “Psychology”), “Information Technologies” (Specialty: “Computer Sciences and Information Technologies”), “Management and Administration” (Specialties: “Public Administration”, “Entrepreneurship, Trade and Exchange Activity”, “Management”), “Education” (Specialties: “Higher Education Pedagogics”, “Higher Education Christian Pedagogics”). Training of communication specialists for foreign countries has always been and continues to be one of the priority areas of activity of the Kiev College of Communication. In 1961, at the order of the USSR Ministry of Communications, the college started training of communication specialists for foreign states. At that point in time it was the only technical school in Kiev that trained foreigners. During 54 years, the foreign-student division has trained over 1300 specialists for nearly 120 countries of Europe, Asia, Latin and Central America, and Africa. Many of them still work in the national communication networks of their countries. Professional training is conducted by highly qualified lecturers acting as both educators and careful tutors. They write guidance manuals for foreign students, help them study our language and conduct general studies.

Private Higher Educational Institution «European University» offers the programs of study at faculty of economics and management; faculty of law; faculty of information and technology systems; faculty of security companies; faculty of professional adaptation and entrepreneurship; faculty of ecology and environmental protection.

Open International University of Human Development "Ukraine" is non-profit, non-state higher education institution, established in 1998. As of July 1, 2004 nearly 33 000 students had been training on 50 different specialties of different qualification levels and 1514 persons of them by means distance learning. Today University "Ukraine" is in comfortable buildings, well-equipped libraries, computer rooms, language laboratories, sports grounds, halls and rehabilitation centers in 20 cities.

The National University of Food Technologies (NUFT) is a Ukrainian university located in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. Today NUFT is the only Ukrainian technical university, which trains highly skilled specialists at Bachelor, Specialist and Master educational qualification levels in 20 specialities and 44 fields of specialisation at Food, Meat and Dairy, Microbiological and Pharmaceutical Industry. National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (NaUKMA) – is a national, coeducational research university located in Kiev, Ukraine. The Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, the school's predecessor, was established in 1615. The NaUKMA is located on the Academy's grounds in the ancient Podil neighborhood. With around 3000 students, NaUKMA is one of the smallest universities in Ukraine. Alumni of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy played a formative role in the intellectual and church life of Ukraine and Russia in 17th and 18th centuries. Science at NaUKMA is organized into six faculties, 29 departments and 24 research centers.

In 1944, Kyiv Automobile and Highway Institute was founded. Since September 2000, it has been called National Transport University (NTU). In 1944, there were two Faculties: the Faculty of Road Construction and the Faculty of Automotive and Mechanical Engineering which trained specialists in the following areas of specialism: motorways, bridges, automobiles and automobile facilities, road-building machines and mechanisms. As of today, there are three educational centers, a research institute, and eight separate units: 3 educational consulting centers and 5educational establishments of I-II level of accreditation. Over this period, the university has trained students from 20 different countries: Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belarus, Bulgaria, Armenia, Georgia, Ecuador, Estonia, Israel, Iran, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, China, Latvia, Lithia, Moldova, Germany, Peru, Russia, Syria, Sudan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan.3885 professionals have been trained. NTUU “Igor Sikorsky KPI” - is the largest technical University of Ukraine and one of the top Universities of Europe and worldwide. University - ranks among top Universities of the world according to QS World University Rankings. KPI provides multilevel education system: “Bachelor Degree” — “Master Degree” — “Ph.D” and ”D.Sc.”

National Pedagogical Dragomanov University is a public higher education institution accredited by Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, specialized on teacher training, as well as social work, law, political science, economics, ecology, design, translation, tourism, management, sociology, psychology, philosophy etc. The university prepares students all levels (Bachelor, Master, PhD) . Since 2006, as part of integrating in Bologna process the university has successfully adopted European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) which has made its diplomas officially recognized in European education space. Currently, National Pedagogical Dragomanov offers its diverse educational possibilities to more than 16.000 students from all over Ukraine, as well as students from abroad, under guidance of 2.500 teachers, 700 of whom have a PhD degree and almost 300 are Doctors of Science. National Aviation University (NAU).The origin of the university dates back to aviation courses organized by Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in the late XIX century. For almost 80 years of its history more than 200,000 highly skilled professionals has been trained in this higher aviation educational institution. Today, NAU is one of the world's most powerful aviation higher educational institutions with more than 50,000 students including 1,200 international students from 49 countries.

Mykhailo Boichuk Kyiv State Academy of Decorative Applied Arts and Design was established in December 1999 on the basis of the Kyiv Art and Industrial College. The works of pupils and teachers are kept by museums in Germany, Australia, USA, Canada, Italy, Poland, Russia, Romania, Hungary, Japan, Syria, Czech Republic and other countries. Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture In 1930 on the basis of factory and communal construction Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and Architectural faculty of Kyiv Art Institute was founded Engineering Institute, which in 1939 was renamed the Kyiv Institute of Civil Engineering. The University is a leading educational institution in Ukraine training for construction. Over the years, the University has trained over 70,000 engineers and architects, including - about two thousand specialists for 80 countries.

SHEI «Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman» is a leading higher educational institution specialising in economics in Ukraine. The University’s rich history spans over 108 years, which is backed by its high position in world university rankings and is well regarded among employers. In KNEU there are 7 buildings, 10 faculties, 40 departments, 5 colleges, a postgraduate and doctoral study department, a scientific park, 21 research institutions for basic and applied research, and the biggest library amongst all higher education institutions of Ukraine. Founded in 1992 KROK University is one of the first private higher educational institutions in Ukraine. In 2003 the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine accredited the University at the IV (highest) level.
