Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University Higher school in ohis region has begun since March 1, 1921 – the day of opening the first higher educational establishment of Donbas (Donetsk Higher Pedagogical Provincial Courses). Luhansk State Medical University was founded in 1956 in Luhansk, Ukraine as Voroshilovgrad State Medical Institute on May 6, 1956. By 2012, the university had more than 3,000 students from over 60 countries. The university offers interns the opportunity to specialize in any of 25 areas.

Mykolaiv V.O. Sukhomlynskyi National University is a higher educational institution of the IV level of accreditation. It was founded in 1913 as a teacher’s institute; the further path passed from the pedagogical institute to the university, to which in 2010 was given a high national status. The university has one institute, eight faculties and a college. Educational process is carried out by 34 departments. The University carries out training of junior specialists, bachelors, masters, scientific brainpower and as well as academic and teaching staff.

Today Mykolaiv National Agrarian University is one of a leading educational and research institution of higher education in southern Ukraine. Mykolayiv National Agrarian University has 11 buildings with a total area of 89731 m2, including 69,735 m2 of educational and laboratory facilities. Material and technical basis for the preparation of foreign students is as follows: - classrooms with modern multimedia equipment; - qualified comprehensive methodological support; - specialized labs, which contain all the necessary equipment and software for teaching and improving the quality of educational services to students. Computer classrooms have both wired Internet and Wi-Fi, which provides staff and students access to modern sources of information. Students can use the dormitories, dining rooms, sports facilities, libraries and reading rooms, which are located at the Mykolayiv National Agrarian University campuses. University’s hostel # 2 situated 50 meters from the main academic building. Hour security groups and curators will provide continued safety of residence. The University has student cafeteria up to 400 person as well as 3 buffets. Complex of sports facilities consists of four halls. The total area of sports facilities is 3034,1 m2. Three Assembly halls of the University can accommodate up to 740 people. Important role in the educational process plays University Scientific Library, which remains the main source of the formation of theoretical knowledge of students. Total area of the Library is 1594 m2, depository’s area - 272 m2. Library has eight reading rooms, with specialized and fiction literature, free Wi-Fi and computers.

Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding (NUS) is a leading higher education institution in Ukraine, which trains specialists for shipbuilding and related industries, the maritime industry and other sectors of the Ukrainian economy.
The date of foundation of NUS, as a higher educational institution, is September 18, 1920, when an industrial technical college was opened in Mykolaiv.
Considering the national and international recognition of the results of the activities of the Admiral Makarov Ukrainian State Maritime Technical University, its significant contribution to the development of national education and science, the Presidential Decree of March 25, 2004 approved to grant the university the status of national and to name it "National University of Shipbuilding ».
NUS them. adm. The educational process in NUS. adm. Makarov is provided by 49 chairs, where 541 teachers work, 63 of them are doctors of science, 90 professors, 276 candidates of sciences, 270 associate professors. Zhytomyr Military Institute named after S.P.Koroliov is the only multi-disciplinary higher military educational establishment in the state.
SP Korolyov Zhytomyr Military Institute named after the State Higher Educational Institution of the third level of accreditation. Established in 1914 as an educational institution that trains air defense specialists. Today (2017) trains both military and civilian experts in the fields of radio engineering, systems engineering, information and cyber security and more. The Institute has a large scientific school, researching and developing robotic military systems. He has experience in fighting (including in the East of Ukraine).
Among the teaching staff of the military institute, 16% of doctors of science and professors, 65% of candidates of sciences, associate professors and senior researchers. In addition, the institute has honored education workers of Ukraine, honored workers of science and technology of Ukraine, laureates of the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of science and technology, honored trainers of Ukraine, honored innovators of Ukraine.
The total area of ​​the training facilities of the Military Institute is over 28 thousand m2. The Institute's auditorium consists of 6 academic buildings, which are equipped with 22 lecture rooms, 39 special classes, 58 laboratories, 5 teaching command points, 40 general-purpose classes and more.
To provide practical training of cadets and students at the departments of the Military Institute, 8 educational and laboratory complexes and laboratories were created, more than 70 classroom variants of weapons and military equipment complexes were deployed, 3 sites of military equipment on the mobile base were equipped, a large computer equipment park was developed, 23 specialized computer classes.
Educational process is provided by 2 libraries. The Library of the General Library has about 300,000 copies.
There is a sports complex with a swimming pool at the Military Institute. The cadets and students have at their disposal a stadium, 3 gyms, 5 sports grounds, a shooting range, a training ground.
The Military Institute is actively involved in international cooperation programs on training, retraining and advanced training of foreign military specialists.
Scientific and pedagogical staff of the military institute participate in international scientific and scientific conferences, publish the results of scientific researches in foreign editions.

Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University is one of the oldest universities in Ukraine that is ranked among the top three higher educational institutions of the northern region. The University comprises 3 Institutes, 5 faculties, a centre for postgraduate education and pre-university tutorial, doctorate and postdoctorate degrees with more than 200 PhD and doctorate students currently conducting their research. Zaporizhzhia State Engineering Academy is a strong scientific and research complex. It is one of two state higher education institutions, wich prepeares specialists on the faculty of Metallurgical Engineering, faculty of Economics and management, faculty of Civil Engineering and Water Resources, faculty of Automated Systems of Process Control, faculty of Power Engineering and Energy Conservation.

The main activity of the University is the providing higher medical education for Specialist’s, Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, as well as postgraduate training in internship, mastership, postgraduate study courses for physicians and pharmacists. The history of Zaporizhia State Medical University comes back to the Women Pedagogical Courses organized in Odessa in 1903. In 1959 the Pharmaceutical Institute was transferred from Odessa to Zaporizhia and renamed in Zaporizhia Pharmaceutical Institute. In 1968 the institution became Zaporizhia State Medical University.

The history of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University starts in November of 1900 when a mechanic and technical college was established in Zaporizhia. Over 110 years our university has been graduating thousands of professionals, most part of which became the leaders in the major branches of Ukrainian industry. Approximately 1500 international students graduated from this university.

Tavria State Agrotechnological University is one of the prominent centers of agricultural education and science in south-eastern region of Ukraine, which includes 5 faculties, 6 educational and research institutes and 6 colleges. In 1926 а clinical institute of advanced training of doctors in Odesa city was opened. In 1955 the institute was transfered to Zaporizhia city. The Academy has IV level of accreditation. Zaporizhzhya National University (ZNU) has 80-years’ long history. University structure Zaporizhzhya National University is nationally accredited the highest 4th level and is among the most renowned leading universities in Ukraine. It is a shrine for education and science as well as storehouse for accumulating and spreading out Ukrainian cultural values of Prydniprovia region even far beyond its boundaries. The University body is made of 17 faculties and 58 departments. The ultimate goal lies in providing high-quality education after 31 specializations.
